Location: Drain Power Limited, Unit 171, 24-28 St Leonards Road, Windsor, Berkshire,
Department: Drainage/CCTV/jetting
Salary: DOE with overtime potential on Saturday and Sunday.
Job Type: Full time, basic hours Monday – Friday 07.30 – 16.30 (nights and overtime available)
Start date: Immediate

Role overview:
Our HGV Jet Vac Operator will join frontline operations and will be part of a two-man team visiting various sites throughout Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Greater London. Operating drainage tankers and Jet Vacs / Vacuumation units you will work alongside CCTV drainage surveying teams while on site. HGV Jet Vac Operators must ensure vehicles are always ready to go and kept in good working order. Night and day-time shift work may be required.

Assist the team ensuring the Jet Vac unit is organised and fully equipped to carry out daily tasks; carry out cleansing and record findings, clear blockages, be able to liaise directly with customers/Contracts Managers to discuss findings when needed; problem shoot and proactively solve on-site issues.

On occasion, the applicant may be required to enter confined spaces and work closely with sewage. Flexibility and a ‘can do’ attitude is key as the applicant will be working on planned and reactive blockages throughout the London area as well as potentially nationwide.

About you
The ideal HGV Jet Vac Operator must be a good team worker, punctual, hardworking, polite, presentable and enthusiastic and have previous experience. Everyday is different and previous experience with drainage/sewage treatment works is an advantage but not essential as full training can be given to the right candidate.

-Drainage experience
-Minimum HGV Class 2 (essential)
-HGV Class 1 (preferred)
-An up to date CSCS card and a high-pressure water jetting certificate (HPWJ) preferred, but training can be given)
-Confined spaces or NRSWA qualification (preferred, but training can be given)
-A full driving license is essential. Own transport is imperative.
-Safety critical medical
